Spinburn are a Taiwanese bike manufacturer who make an unusual range of bicycles from high end titanium frames to innovative recumbents. The Solo is one of their folding bikes that will suit the kind of user who wants a bike that rides like a normal road bike first and foremost.
It is light, well specced and at this price seems like very good value. It runs 20? (406) wheels with 100psi tyres and a full 27 speed derailleur gear set. It also operates on a single fold point behind the bottom bracket which means the central frame section remains solid. You have to remove the front wheel to fold it but it makes for a very light and rigid bike in normal use.
It also has a very useful pair of quick release touring racks rated at 15kgs each. The frame is alloy and includes an RST suspension fork which does a good job of smoothing out the bumps. A larger frame is also available for bigger riders.
